Winner of the Begonia Festival Poster in 2006.

I am a long time local artist living in Corralitos., California.  I gather my inspiration from my beautiful daily surroundings, and places I've visited. My work is ever changing and developing, my main subjects are florals, landscapes, trees and birds. I love doing mixed medium and torn paper collages most recently, but switch off between aqua based oils, and acrylics using pallet knife and brush both, trying to keep things fresh.

My work tends to be colorful, expressive and textured. Whether using paint or torn paper these works have a  fabric feeling, each a quilting of the life and things I see.

I am not striving for perfection but almost the opposite of that, and in just playing to see what surprises come from that.

Most of my paintings can be found on Saatchiart.com  Dorina Hoffer.  Please contact me if you are interested in my smaller collages. I do accept Paypal. I am still working on my Website and "Storefront".

Thank you for checking out my website.
